Hair colorants may cause allergic reaction, which in rare instances can be serious. To help minimize risk a skin test must be performed 48 hours before your hair appointment. Allergies may develop over time, which is why it is important that you check for allergies to hair colorants at least once a year.

Certain substances found in some permanent or temporary tattoos may themselves cause an allergic reaction. If you have had a tattoo or tattoo make up since your last skin test please come in for a reassessment.

It takes up to 48 hours for the body to develop an immune system response. If you cut corners you risk missing a skin reaction.

Rinse the skin test off your skin immediately. Unfortunately we can not go ahead with the Colour service. You should seek advice from your doctor before colouring your hair again.
