How do I book an appointment at The Colour Bar?
«You can book online, call The Colour Bar on 0151 644 6023. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred stylist and time.
What happens if I need to change or cancel my appointment?
«We will send you automatic reminders 72 hours before each appointment, with the option to simply text back to cancel. It is important you ensure we have your correct phone number on file. Your privacy is important to us and you can be assured that we will not share your contact details with anyone else.
When you book at The Colour Bar, we take your appointment as a verbal contract and the time slot is reserved especially for you. When you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive our services. As a small business no shows and late cancellations can have a damaging impact on our business so these policy are in place to protect our business.
We will always do our very best to fit you in for an appointment at a time that suits you. Due to the volume of requests for appointments, we will ask you for a non-refundable 50% deposit when you book to secure your appointment.
The deposit will be payable at the time of booking or no later than 1 week before your appointment and will be used as part payment towards your service. You can pay your deposit via cash, card or via our online booking system.

Do you offer late night opening at The Colour Bar?
«Yes, we are open until 8pm on Thursdays. You can find our opening hours on our contact page HERE.
Is it easy to park near The Colour Bar in Bebington?
«Yes, you can find The Colour Bar at 54 Bromborough Road, Bebington, Birkenhead, Wirral - and we have free parking outside.
Do I need a patch test before my colour appointment?
«Yes. All new colour clients – or returning clients who haven’t had colour with us in the last 6 months – must have a patch test at least 48 hours before their appointment.
Do you offer free hair consultations at The Colour Bar?
«If you're new to the salon or considering a complete restyle with a new hair colour, we ask that you book a 15-minute consultation (£15) before your appointment. This allows us to discuss your goals, explore your options, and assess your hair’s condition.
For those who want something more complex - perhaps a colour correction or colour change - we will need to dive a little deeper. Our in-depth luxury 30-minute consultation (£30) gives us extra time to asses your hair, discuss your needs, and talk through styles, colour ideas, or concerns.
Both consultation fees are redeemable against your appointment if you book within 30 days.
Do you offer balayage and creative colouring?
«Yes, balayage, highlights, vivid colour, and bespoke creative colour services are some of our specialties. We personalise every colour to suit your style and skin tone.
Can I go from dark hair to blonde in one session?
«This depends on your hair’s current colour, condition, and texture. Often, lightening is a gradual process to ensure your hair stays healthy. Your colourist will explain the plan during your consultation.
Do you offer hair treatments?
«Yes, we offer a range of treatments to nourish and repair your hair, including deep conditioning masks and bond-building formulas that strengthen hair from the inside out.
